A Season of Sun, Sea, and Celebration
From Día de Muertos through the first days of the new year, Conrad Punta de Mita moves into its most celebrated season. The Pacific stays warm. The evenings turn long. Two miles of swimmable shoreline fill with the particular energy of families who have travelled far to be together.
This is the Riviera Nayarit at its most alive, and the season is built around it: ancestral ritual at the start, chef-led dinners on the sand, cultural ritual at sundown, and holiday programming that gives every generation somewhere to be.
Día de Muertos
A celebration of color, memory, and joy on the Pacific.
The festive season opens with one of Mexico’s most revered traditions. Catrinas and candlelit altars fill the resort with color, while live face painting transforms guests into the iconic figures of the holiday. Artisan pop-ups bring regional sweets, Wixárika craftsmanship, and whimsical alebrijes inspired by the stories they carry. As evening falls, music and the scent of marigold move through the resort, and families gather beneath the stars to close the day together.

Thanksgiving
A holiday table set by the Pacific.
Thanksgiving finds its own rhythm on the Riviera Nayarit shoreline, where ocean breeze and long sunsets replace the usual holiday hurry. Guests gather for gourmet dining built around the season, wellness rituals that make room for gratitude, and a calendar of experiences designed to fill the days between the meal and the moment. It is Thanksgiving the way it is meant to feel: unhurried, together, and entirely its own.

Dining at Conrad Punta de Mita
Seven kitchens, one coast, a season built around the table.
The festive season lives at the table. Across seven restaurants and bars, the resort’s kitchens turn the holidays into a run of long dinners and slow mornings: seafood pulled from the Pacific at Codex, the restaurant recognized among Mexico’s 250 best; open-fire cooking at Mezquite, where the catch comes in by hand from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle; home-inspired Mexican cooking at Árbol by day, which becomes Árbol Cucina and its Italian kitchen by night; poolside afternoons at Paleta; agave poured with its full story at the Agave Studio; and morning coffee and house-made pastry at Colibri. Each evening carries its own character, and each table is set with the ocean close enough to hear.

A Season of Daily Experiences
Each day of the festive season carries its own rhythm at Conrad Punta de Mita. Mornings open on the beach, afternoons turn social, and evenings move from cultural ritual to the table and into the night. What follows is the shape of a typical day. The full daily calendar, with times and locations, is shared closer to the season and available from the Concierge on arrival.

Morning Wellness
Start the day on the sand. Yoga overlooking the sea, guided stretching, breath and sound healing, and fitness sessions built for every level, each one a calm way into the day before the coast wakes up.

Family and Play
The season is built for every generation. An indoor game room open through the day, giant lawn games, a letter to Santa and his grand arrival, kids’ pajama parties at Turi Club, and outdoor movie nights under the stars.

Culinary and Mixology
Learn the drink, then stay for dinner. Daily cocktail classes at Tuki move through the Paloma, margarita, mezcalita, and more, alongside themed dinners and special menus that change character night to night across the resort’s kitchens.

Culture and Ritual
The heart of the season. A daily Sunset Ceremony grounded in Wixárika tradition, seasonal turtle releases, a New Year’s resolution ceremony, and, in the days around Día de Muertos, catrina face painting and a departmental catrina parade.

Signature Celebrations
The nights that anchor the season. The Christmas Tree Lighting, Santa’s arrival, Christmas dinner, and two ways to welcome the year: an intimate five-course dinner at Codex and the Ocean of Lights gala on Mezquite beach, closing with fireworks over the Pacific.
Private Experiences

Private Dinner
