Codex
Inspired by an ancient Aztec manuscript, our signature restaurant is an immersive culinary journey through the flavors and traditions of Mexican cuisine. As a testament to our commitment to excellence, we are proud to announce that our restaurant has been recognized as one of the 250 best restaurants in Mexico by the prestigious gastronomic guide of Mexico, Culinaria Mexicana. A Traditional Feast in the Sand
Sea-to-table dining as it’s been done for centuries: Watch as the fishermen arrive through the surf from the local village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. As they share a drink with you, our chefs select the fresh catch and grill it over mezquite wood — following recipes handed down in the state of Nayarit for generations. The entire experience, which also includes salsas frescas and other regional dishes, is fascinating, entertaining… and delicious.

Agave Spirits Tasting
Our Agave Studio is devoted to the ancient spirit and its many enticing forms. Our agave expert will guide you through a tasting selected from our 200-plus bottles of tequila, mezcal, raicilla, and sotol. Discover their history, provenance, and flavor profiles, accompanied by small bites. Or book a five-course dinner with agave pairings.
Private Dinner
An irresistible marriage of cuisine and romance: A secluded table for two, set in the mangroves at Codex, and a modern menu influenced by ancient recipes, curated just for you by our chef de cuisine. Alternatively, we’ll create a private dining experience in a tranquil space within the resort, from your private terrace to a quiet cabana with views of the Pacific sunset.
